Through your contribution, you help provide better care for animals in need while supporting the hands-on training of local veterinarians and students. In doing so, you not only promote animal welfare, but also contribute to the sustainable development of communities and to a healthier human–animal relationship in Rwanda.
Rwanda is a country that has made impressive progress, but has limited veterinary resources. Rural areas, in particular, lack trained professionals, basic veterinary care, and education. This situation often leads to avoidable animal suffering, as well as social and economic problems for families who depend on healthy livestock.
At this time, donations to VetPro are not tax-deductible. We are already working to ensure that your support will be tax-deductible in the future. 100% of your donation goes to our projects in Rwanda, directly to where help is needed.
You can support the NVVH through donations, a sponsorship with the VetPro association, or, if applicable, donations of like-new items (by prior arrangement). Support from veterinarians with specialized expertise and experience giving lectures from all countries is very welcome.
In general, practical collaboration or support from veterinarians in other countries is welcome and possible. Details and areas of responsibility will be discussed and planned on a case-by-case basis. Please feel free to contact us by email.
