Advancing Veterinary Medicine and Education in Rwanda
Our goal is, Good Veterinary Practice to establish it in Rwanda on a permanent, sustainable, and independent basis. As is common internationally, the focus lies on disease prevention, reproductive control, and the treatment of sick individual animals and herds. Our guiding principles are “help for self-help” and the One Health concept.
All decisions are made with constant consideration for animal welfare. Animal owners who are unable to cover treatment costs receive support whenever possible. Over the years, we have succeeded in building a high-quality veterinary clinic with two locations, training a competent team, and implementing reliable procedures. These efforts will continue to be supported in the future through both financial and educational means.
